Ack! I know. I follow pageants and law issues fastidiously and was delighted to see that the new Miss America is law school-bound. It may also be of interest to you that Miss Universe 2002 (from Russia), is a civil law student in her native country. It has just been announced, however, that she did not comply with her Miss Universe duties (and could be secretly married and pregnant), and so she will be stripped of the Miss Universe title. Miss Panama will take over, another brainy beauty with aspirations of working in the Smithsonian Research Center as an environmental engineer. Who said brainy wasn't beautiful?!
