Ahh, I remember dancing to that song in a German club in 1995. The times, how they change.

Yeah, Smokie and that song were big in Germany from, well, '94 to '95 or so. It's one of those audience participation songs they loved to play in the club I worked as a bouncer - and I hated it :) I still remember my first bar-brawl, it broke out during the song when someone hollered to loudly into someone else's ear... man, Berlin '95 was a riot. Thanks for bringing that memory back :)

My best friend in college loved that song. So late '95 early '96 we would sit in her small dorm room screaming "who the f&*% is Alice?" We got some strange looks from the other people living on our floor.
