Snow Day

One-L run amok.

Silly 1L! You're supposed to play in the snow, not take an exam on it! (Memories of last year rise up from the deep... I remember the brief 2-day period where we thought it was cool to point out all the tortious activity.)

I cannot be absolutely sure, but I think that item is only the second time I have come across "riparian" - and the other was in a sit-com (Keeping up Appearances, an episode where a picnic causes much consternation).

Hilarious... I've had two of my profs-- torts and property (same property class that Steven is in) use "riparian" so far, but I had the same thought the first time one used it. That darn "Bucket" woman.

sad. our brains are really forever morphed now that we've been playing at this whole law school thing. We've turned into babbling lawyer-folk.

I'd bang my head against my cubicle wall, but seeing as my employer owns it, and I might very well convert the property by adding my blood to the wall, I'll abstain. and just cry.
